This is the Captain and Tennille, a great singing duo from the 70’s. Our November DOGS of the Month are the Captain and Sandi…not Tennille. Just wanted to be sure there was no mix-up here. Our Captain and Sandi don’t sing. They are, however actually from the same family. Yes, they are. Sandi is from the mom and Captain is the product of her daughter. That makes Captain, Sandi’s grandnephew. Could they look any more unalike? 
The Captain is handsome, stately, shy, and reserved, but not when it comes to Sandi. He constantly comes to her rescue, even when she doesn’t need it. We think he might be a bit jealous if she is playing with someone else. Sandi has that big dog attitude. She is feisty, mouthy at times, brave, and energetic. She thinks that she is the same size as the Captain. She loves sunning herself on the warm cinder blocks and her mother has nicknamed her “Cinder.” Sandi’s second favorite spot is being at the top of the slide…any slide. Here we are, going on and on about Sandi’s favorite spots and not mentioning the Captain’s. That is because Captain’s favorite spot is next to Grandaunt Sandi, wherever she is.
