Congrats, Belle!

BELLE, THE LAB/GREYHOUND MIX SHINES AS THE March DOG OF THE MONTH! Belle, the March Dog of the Month, is a Lab and Greyhound (maybe) mix. She is black, sleek and FAST! She embodies many of the Lab’s characteristics, but can be a bit reserved when meeting new people and this could be the shy Greyhound in her. Greyhounds, once used for their vision and speed in hunting, are now primarily sweet and personable companions. They are tall and lean and the fastest breed of dog there is. When Belle is in the Central Bark playgroup, her Lab personality really sparkles! She will play with everybody and anybody! She loves fast dogs, slow dogs, dark dogs, light dogs – and all the dogs love Belle back! The Lab in Belle makes for a gentle, lovable, loyal, playful, family dog. This combination makes Belle a really special lady. We know she is special because her parents, Ben and Jessica, rescued her from the Animal House Adoption Center. This makes Ben and Jessica special, too. Kudos to them! Ben and Jessica have done an excellent job of stopping some of Belle’s bad habits such as jumping up on people, becoming too excited when meeting new people, going for a ride in the car, or when taking walks. Their dedication and determination helped Belle earn her American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Certification! (Yes, of course here at Central Bark.) Join us in congratulating Belle on being the March Dog of the Month. Congratulations also to Ben and Jessica for adopting a dog in need. Look what you have achieved with Belle!
