The kids went back to school last week — why not your pup? Dog training at Central Bark is open to all dogs throughout the Naperville and Aurora area. It’s also especially easy to add if your dog is already coming in for day care or boarding.
Three Convenient Dog Training Options
We offer three convenient one-on-one training session options:
Private Owner Sessions put you, your dog, and our trainer Francesca in the room together, working side by side. You get to see firsthand how Francesca works with your dog, and you leave knowing exactly how to keep the training going at home. Available in 30- or 60-minute sessions.
Training Tutor Sessions are just your dog and Francesca, one on one. They’re a perfect add-on when your dog is boarding with us or attending a day care day, though you can always book a standalone tutor session too. Available in 30- or 60-minute sessions.
Day Care Enrichment Sessions are shorter, 15-minute sessions Francesca runs with your dog as part of the day care or boarding day. These are great for tackling specific challenges you want to focus on with your dog.
What Our Dog Training Covers
In general, training sessions can address a range of skills. Most dogs work on things like name recall, sit, stay, leave-it, calm door and gate manners, and loose-leash walking. We can also work on more specific challenges, like separation anxiety or excess barking.
Got a high-energy dog who needs somewhere to put all that drive? Ask about agility training. It’s a fun way to channel your pup’s energy into focus and confidence.
And even better, at the end of every session, you get a written training report explaining what we worked on, how your dog did, and homework to practice before next time. No guessing what to work on between visits.
