doggy day care benefits: love, play, learn, rest

A Healthy, Balanced Day

At our Oakdale Dog Day Care, we strive for a harmonious blend of play, exercise, socialization, learning, rest, and tender loving care (TLC). Each day is tailored to meet your dog’s specific needs and preferences, fostering a healthy, happy, calm, and well-rounded demeanor at home.

  • Play, Exercise, and Socialization are key components. Regular exercise aids in maintaining your dog’s healthy weight and muscle tone, improving their mood, and providing a positive outlet for physical and mental energy.
  • Rest is crucial for your dog’s overall well-being. Our carefully planned daily schedule focuses on preventing unhealthy overstimulation, ensuring the right balance of rest, play, and learning.
  • Learning is an ongoing process. Dogs learn from humans and each other, guided by our staff to promote safe play and healthy social behaviors. Positive training techniques contribute to a positive environment at day care.
  • Love is at the core of our Oakdale doggy day care family. Your dog becomes a cherished member, receiving the love and attention they need in your absence.

Does the center maintain the same policy for sleepovers?

Central Bark® reserves sleepover services exclusively for dogs accepted into the day care program, so the same policies do apply. Our Stay-n-Play program (available at participating locations) offers boarding services for dogs that have not enrolled in our day care program.

Can I stay with my dog at the groomers?

You do not need to stay with your dog during their grooming appointment. Our expert groomers always aim to help your dog feel as calm and relaxed as possible during their bathing and grooming experience. If your pup is feeling a little unsure, ask our training team about ways to enrich their experience and help create positive associations by using positive reward-based training methods.
