February may be the shortest month of the year, but it’s one of “best”s here at the Bark! This month’s dog of the month not only knows how to dish out love better than cupid, but he also holds several Barkley Doggy Records here at the Eastside. Quick! Who can jump the highest? Run the fastest? Play for the longest? Eat their lunch first? That’s right, here at the Eastside we have an Olympian all our own! Congratulations, Percy, February’s Dog of the Month! Percy has been coming to the Eastside for several years now on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and has been in group 3 since day 1! This little, big guy is a pitty pup pampered and primed for action! Some of his favorite events include the 100m dash (and back, repeat), the goughnut hurl, and Percy’s a real gymnast when it comes to acrobatic fetch catches (did we mention he’s the gold medalist in back flips?). Among many, Percy’s favorite teammates include: Lola (silver medalist in back flips), Luna, Roary, and Oscar! The only thing Percy doesn’t excel in is ‘down time’, what even is that? This energetic boy will chase Scout and her ball, howl with the choir, take a dip in the pool, and still have time to check in with his handler for chin scratches and a pat on the head. He’s a strongman at heart, and sails past the competition in anything he does! Clear the podium, ladies & gents, Eastside’s Gold Medalist of the Month has arrived!
Percy Power!
