Everybody loves a Lab and Wilbur is no exception. This handsome 2 year old charms everyone he meets. Wilbur has been attending Central Bark practically since he was born. In fact, before Mom even brought him home, she had already secured him a spot in “school”. Less than 2 weeks after settling in with his new family, we were introduced to one of the cutest puppies we’ve ever seen. His adorable floppy ears, shiny black coat and innocent puppy eyes just melted our hearts. Up until recently, Wilbur used to come every day; but Mom missed him so much that he now comes every other day so she can spend a little more time with him.
Wilbur is a natural day care dog. He makes friends easily and loves to wrestle and chase them all day long. He does have definite favorites-Marco, Lola, Blake and Reggie, who coincidently are also Black Labs, as well as Ruby, Kubrick, Bentley and Bella. He loves to play with toys, swim in the pools & in the wintertime, he goes absolutely BONKERS for the snow! But I think that most of all, Wilbur loves to get as much attention from the dog handlers as he can. He can also be pretty sneaky about it. You could be petting one dog and all of a sudden realize that Wilbur has stuck his head under your hand and suddenly he’s getting all the ear scratching. Talk about a smart dog! And don’t get me started on his amazing ability to catch treats in mid air… Congratulations Wilbur-you’ve finally earned your title as Dog of the Month!
