Meet Retta! Adopted when she was around 2 years old, we have no idea why anyone would NOT have wanted this sweet little girl. Her ears alone are enough to make you fall in love with her. Couple that with her sweet personality and impeccable manners and you’ve got yourself a great dog! Shortly after settling in, it was decided that Retta needed an outlet for her energy and soon she began day care. You’d never know it by the ladylike way she walks into “school” in the morning that she is actually quite the spitfire when it comes to playtime. In fact, we sometimes get dizzy from running after her to try to get her to slow down! Popular with both dogs and staff, I don’t think there’s an employee here that doesn’t exclaim “Retta!” when she trots out to playgroup. She’s a pretty big deal around here☺ She always makes time to play with each and every one of her friends; Duke, Cali, Indy, Molly, Lando, Jovi, Oscar, Blake, Charlie, Margo, Lucy…and that’s just a few of them! She’s never met a dog that she didn’t like. For all of these reasons and more, congratulations Retta; you are June’s Dog of the Month!
