Don’t be fooled by our April dog of the month, Lakota. She may look small and delicate, but she is tough and has a huge appetite to play! Lil’ Lakota has been coming to the Eastside just about every week day since she was a pup back in June of 2014. The now 2 year old pittie mix has made quite the rolodex of friends during her VIP time here! Some of her best buds are Darcy, Homer, Captain Louie, Sadie, and Cash. Although Lakota prefers the big guys, she doesn’t discriminate and plays with any dog, big or small, willing to play with her! When playtime is coming to a close, Lakota can be found bumping her head into the back of the handler’s legs so she can get some love and attention. Lakota is a crowd favorite at the Eastside from both people and dogs! How could you not love that face? Lakota makes sure to say hello and get a morning greeting from each handler, which we always oblige. At the end of the day, Lakota bolts out to mom after a busy day so she can eat dinner, curl up, and dream about the adventures she’ll get into tomorrow! Congratulations, Lakota on being our April dog of the month!! We couldn’t imagine a day without you!
