We are well in to summer with the arrival of August, complete with warm sunshine, cold popsicles, and games galore to keep us busy! We would like to introduce to you one dog who always knows how to have a good time no matter how hot outside: Attie! This beautiful Wirehaired Pointing Griffon is a Central Bark veteran! She started as just a little pup back in 2005 at our Downtown location. After mom and dad moved several miles north, Attie transferred to our Northside location in 2011 and has been a regular ever since! At drop off in the mornings, Attie likes to give the appearance that she is “so tired” as she casually traipses through the store. The second her paws hit our green astro-turf, that girl is RUNNIN’! Chasing Goughnuts, fetch with the tennis ball, and a good wrestle with her buddies Ranger, Oliver, Renley and Fonzie are always on her agenda. Once Attie is well tuckered out, she finds the best area possible to curl up in a neat little Attie-ball and take a nap—ahh, what an accomplished day. This 10-year-old certainly deserves the honor of Dog of the Month. Congratulations on your new title, Attie! You’ve earned it!
