Chewie is a 1-year-old Yorkie who has been coming to Central Bark Gurnee since July of 2020. Chewie definitely wins the award for best-dressed pup. In fact, he could have been the inspiration for ZZ Top’s song, “Sharp Dressed Man.” He’s also in the running for most photogenic. We just hope he doesn’t forget all of us when his modeling career hits the big time and he makes the cover of Doggy GQ! Until that happens, Chewie seems content here at Central Bark; he would love to spend all day on the break room couch, snuggling with the staff. Since that’s not an option, it’s a good thing that he’s playful and adventurous. Chewie just discovered the pool this past weekend and he loves it. He also loves playing with everybody, especially his best Bark Buddies, Chase the chihuahua, Nala, Scout and Kiko. Chewie packs a lot of personality into his whopping 5 lbs. We’re all crazy ‘bout our Sharp Dressed Man. Congratulations Chewie!
