My two babies, Cricket and Teddy G LOVE Central Bark! The team takes great care of them and everyone is so personable. You can tell that they love all of the pups!! My two are excited as we turn into the parking lot and basically drag me inside. It’s nice to know that they love being there…gives me great peace of mind. If you’ve thought about trying them out…stop thinking about it…do it! 🐾❤️. Thank you for loving and taking care of my babies Central Bark team!
They got my dad’s dog in last minute during an emergency and they have been taking great care of her. They send daily updates and if your dog gets a bath they will be softer than you can imagine. Highly recommend them!

I was looking for a new groomer and I found Central Bark. The staff was friendly an answered all my questions with helpful information. They did a great job grooming my baby and he seemed happy afterwards.
I was so happy to find this place for grooming. They did an amazing job with my mini poodle. The staff was very accommodating, listened carefully to what we wanted and made sure he looked exactly how we hoped. Highly recommend!
We’ve been taking our 7 month old puppy, Noli, to Central Bark since they first opened, and it’s been such a great experience from day one. We initially started with their free puppy play hour on Saturdays, which was an awesome way to meet the owner and staff and learn more about their daycare options.
Now, she goes twice a week, and she literally gets so excited when we pull up in the morning, it’s the best feeling knowing she loves being there. The staff are incredibly attentive and clearly care so much about the dogs.
One thing we especially appreciate is their communication. They send thoughtful text updates with photos from her playtime, making it easy to stay connected throughout the day. Scheduling is also super convenient over text, and they’re always quick to answer any questions we have.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for a daycare that truly cares about your pup!
How Does Central Bark Handle Feeding for My Dog During the Day?
We are happy to accommodate your dog’s feeding schedule as part of their “Rest Period Enrichments.” Simply bring their food in pre-portioned containers with clear instructions. Our trained staff will ensure your dog receives their meal in a private, quiet space. We are also experienced in handling a variety of specific needs, including day care for dogs with allergies and medication administration, though additional fees may apply.
Is 5 months too old to train a puppy?
Not at all! It’s never too early or too late to begin building positive associations and using reward-based methods to teach your puppy new skills and behaviors.
Establish a training schedule now to help your puppy learn desired behaviors like walking nicely on a leash and basic cues like sit, stay, and loose-leash walking. Practicing these skills at home is critical, but it’s always a good idea to enlist the help of a professional to get a jump start teaching your puppy all the things you want them to know and set them up for success! Central Bark® offers everything you need to help you train your dog, including expert training and classes, so you and your puppy can learn and bond together.
An essential characteristic of a dog groomer is someone who makes you and your dog feel safe and comfortable.
Other things to look for:
Certifications – Groomers don’t need a license or certification to work. Still, these accreditations are often signs that the groomer has the necessary training and experience to care for your pup.
Experience with different breeds – Look for a groomer with experience with a variety of breeds and coats and the standard haircut for your dog’s breed.
Preparedness – A groomer should work with dogs of all ages and levels of experience with grooming. They should aim to help each dog feel as comfortable as possible with the grooming process. Suppose the dog or puppy becomes anxious or uncomfortable. In that case, the groomer should be able to suggest a plan for increasing their comfort over time with the use of a positive reward-based approach.
After decades of experience, we know that reward-based training is the most humane and effective way to train dogs and address unwanted behaviors. With reward-based training, you can build a loving, trusting bond that enhances your relationship with your dog for a lifetime of happiness.
Positive reward-based techniques help puppies and dogs develop essential life skills and behaviors that will enrich their lives at home and day care. These methods set dogs up to succeed and reward them for performing desired behaviors. Rewards are tailored to the dog’s preferences and include food treats, time to play with a favorite toy, or verbal praise.
