Frequently Asked Questions
No. Central Bark locations do not have staff staying overnight with boarding dogs. After their daytime activities, dogs settle into their designated overnight spaces. Central Bark locations use monitored security systems, and your local team can explain the overnight setup and safety procedures for your dog’s stay.
Absolutely. We encourage prospective clients to see their local Central Bark firsthand. Contact your local Central Bark to ask about scheduling a tour of the areas your dog may use, including available play and rest spaces, so you can feel comfortable and confident about their care.
Dog day care provides a structured environment where dogs can receive supervised social experiences, enrichment, activity, learning, and rest throughout the day. A dog walker typically provides a shorter period of exercise and individual attention, while staying home offers a quieter environment with more time alone. The best choice depends on your dog’s personality, routine, health, and individual needs.
Central Bark takes a proactive approach to maintaining clean, safe environments for the dogs in our care. Our locations are cleaned and disinfected daily using veterinary-grade disinfectants, and dogs attending our services must meet applicable vaccination and health requirements. Our teams also follow established safety practices throughout the day, including supervised play and structured play and rest periods. We encourage pet parents to contact their local Central Bark to ask questions or schedule a tour and see the facility firsthand.
