Central Bark Jackson has a very special 4 year old Black Lab Great Dane mix, his name is Gus! He is one of our largest dogs and is a favorite playmate among all the dogs no matter their size. Gus loves to stir things up right away in the morning, by running as fast as he can around the play group with all the dogs close behind. He also loves to play Hide and Seek with the handlers, especially Amanda S. It is a simple game where the handler will hide behind a piece of play equipment and call Gus, and then Gus looks around and comes tearing around the corner as if to say “I found you, you can’t fool me.” Gus is also one of CB-Jackson’s Houdinies, he can open play group gates, which he loves to do outside to give himself and all the other dogs a chance to take a quick explore of an empty playgroup. Gus also likes to go inbetween handlers legs, which can be interesting to watch when he does it to a handler who vertically challenged. One last habit Gus has with the handlers is his daily “goose,” meaning he likes to nibble on our hinnies:-)Congratulations to the big guy who gives us many laughs!
