A Healthy, Balanced Day
At Enrichment Dog Day Care, we offer a well-rounded mix of play, exercise, socialization, education, relaxation, and tender loving care.
- Play, Exercise, and Socialization: Engaging in physical activity is crucial for your dog’s well-being, helping them maintain a healthy weight and muscle strength while boosting their mood and providing an outlet for their energy, both physical and mental. This translates to a more relaxed demeanor at home.
- Rest: Amidst play and socialization, allowing dogs time to rest, unwind, and recharge is essential for their overall health, physically, mentally, and emotionally. Our daily schedule is designed to prevent excessive stimulation, fostering a healthy balance between rest, play, and learning.
- Learning: Dogs are constant learners, observing and absorbing information from humans and fellow canines. With our guidance, dogs teach each other appropriate social behaviors. Our trained staff employs positive reinforcement techniques to encourage safe play and support your dog in practicing healthy social interactions during their time at daycare.
- Affection: Your dog becomes part of our extended family, receiving the love and attention they deserve while you’re apart. We forge a bond with your dog to instill a sense of comfort and confidence.
Commitment to Safety
Ensuring the safety and welfare of our guests is our top concern. As fellow dog parents, we value each dog as if they were our own. Our dedication lies in maintaining a secure and healthy environment for all who step into our facility.

Mogs confidence has bloomed a thousand fold since she’s started going weekly. She always gets excited when I say “day care” & always comes home exhausted, which we love!
I adopted a second dog who was with me for a few months. Unfortunately their personalities didn’t mix in the home & it became a safety issue & he was rehomed. During the time I had him, Central Bark stepped up with advice, fitting me in for extra days & doing their best to tire him out & help him get a bit more socialization. I tried so hard & one day I walked in & just cried. Gaby gave me a great pep talk, let me cry some more & helped me recenter.
That brings me to my next point, the staff. I don’t know everyones names, but everyone there is always friendly, supportive, honest & most importantly, just love the dogs they work with. They are very flexible with requests from parents (if they’re doable) & have fun seasonal events for the pups. I know I’m missing some people, so blame it on my head, not my heart. Thank you Gaby, Kristie, Jaime, Bassam, Kensley, Marcus, Julia, Sara and the whole team! You all work so hard & so well together, handling the parents & the dogs (the dogs are the easy part)! 😊
Thanks for being such an important part of Mogwais life!
FAQs about Enrichment Dog Day Care in Philadelphia
Our top priority is the safety of every dog in our care. Our staff members are not only highly trained but also “fluent in dog speak,” which means they can read canine body language and behavior cues. Our rigorous dog day care safety protocols use a science-based positive reinforcement approach to constantly monitor and manage play. We believe in proactive and preventative care, working to de-escalate potential issues before they start, which is a key part of how dog day care handles disagreements and maintains a secure environment for all dogs.
It’s easy! Just find your local store and click Enroll Now to create your online account and complete our online registration form or call the location to speak with an associate.
To speed up the registration process, please have available: veterinarian contact information, an emergency contact (other than yourself or your partner), pet information & medical history, and credit card information (optional). We will ask you a series of questions about your dog’s training and social history. These questions help us get to know them and provide the best care possible.
As part of joining the Central Bark® family, our expert staff conducts a thorough behavior assessment at your local Central Bark store. These assessments help ensure that your dog is placed with a playgroup they’re comfortable with so they can play safely every day they’re with us.
This four-day evaluation, while your dog participates in our Enrichment Day Care, assesses your dog’s:
- Comfort and social skills with people
- Social skills and playstyle with other dogs to help determine the playgroup and play schedule they can benefit from the most
- Comfort in both indoor and outdoor play spaces
- Comfort in rest areas and a crate
- Ability to share resources like water and toys in social settings
- Level of comfort taking treats in social settings
This process gives us a chance to get to know you and your dog while your dog gets acquainted with their new favorite place away from home. Through the entire four days, your dog’s comfort and safety is our top priority.
Once your pup passes all the behavior assessment elements, you are welcome to sign up for any of our daycare services or a sleepover!
To schedule a Behavior Assessment for your dog, please contact your local store.
NOTE: Please bring all required signed forms, vaccination proof, and a collar and leash for your behavior assessment.
