Stay-n-Play
for occasional dog boarding guests
Our Stay-n-Play program offers boarding for dogs that are not currently enrolled in our day care program. Each overnight guest can get a restful night’s sleep, followed by a day of play, exercise, and plenty of TLC from our staff. Stay-n-Play guests sleep and play in their own designated areas.

Central Bark is a great place for her to play and safely interact with other dogs, with supervision and clean spaces for play and naps. She gets a frozen enrichment treat every session, and has learned better manners from the other dogs and the staff.
We can add on to her regular daycare to have some basic training tutoring. We have found this to be helpful with generalizing training that we are working on at home, such as loose leash walking. It is also helpful for me to watch the short videos they send of her receiving the tutoring so I have a more concrete idea how to structure the training myself.
We have twice added on a grooming session during her daycare day as well. She has very short fur, but it is remarkable how much softer even short fur can feel after a good grooming session. I like that they will clip her claws, because I am a menace with that nail trimmer. We will definitely use that service more often.
We used the boarding service one night one weekend. That went very smoothly, and we will be boarding her for a full week during an upcoming vacation. Since she is already in the daycare, she gets to see all her favorite pups during the days that daycare is open. I am confident she will have a good time.
Every day of daycare, I get a link to where I can see and download pictures and short video of her during her day, with a little report on how she’s doing. It’s a very nice touch, and the whole family enjoys those notifications.
Additionally, we are taking a training class on the weekend, also at Central Bark.
When we first got our puppy from a rescue, she was rather rough, and the hot, hot weather made it difficult to get her enough enjoyment. I was so nervous she wouldn’t pass the evaluation, but it went just fine. Since then, along with ongoing training, Central Bark has been a huge help. She is more fulfilled and cheerful, is able to play for longer without getting bitey, and we have more time and energy to give her on the days she is home.
The facility is clean and cheerful. The play spaces look like lots of fun. The dogs seem to have a blast. The staff is friendly and seem genuinely interested in the dogs. It’s a great place and we’re very pleased with our experience.
