Every dog imagines a world where every day is play day. The swimming pools are filled with crystal, clear water, delectable treats are plentiful, toys are abundant and the hardest decision you make all day is which one of your friends you want to hang out with. Sounds too good to be true, right?! Well not for Central Bark’s June Dog of the Month. This is what awaits Scout every Monday through Friday when she walks in the door. Originally, Scout began coming every day during the colder months but has since continued her VIP status beyond because, well, she loves it! As her mom hands over her leash, Scout trots along with us until we get to the gates-then she begins pulling with all her might until we unhook her leash from her collar, and runs full speed to get outdoors. In typical Boxer fashion, Scout likes to "put up her dukes" when she plays, encouraging others to do the same. To list her friends would be an overwhelming task, so let’s just say that her best friends are…well…everyone. She gets all the dogs in a playful mood with her energetic play style. She may tend to look very serious in her pictures, but don’t let that fool you. She is having the time of her life while running around out there. She also enjoys wading in the kiddie pools as well as chasing bubbles; stopping only to pick up a stray toy or to receive a quick head scratch from her dog handler. She is a very busy girl. Scout’s recent visit with Animal Communicator, Rebeca Moravec, revealed some pretty opinionated revelations about herself. Scout told Rebecca that she thinks she is the most popular dog at day care and everyone loves her. Judging by all the dogs we see her play with, we might have to agree! Another surprising announcement came when Scout mentioned popcorn. Mom confirmed that when making it at home, Scout waits by the stove and runs for the stray, popped kernels that fly out of the pan! Now that’s a smart dog;-) We are proud to announce June’s Dog of the Month title goes to our pool-loving, popcorn-eating, play-till-you-drop-dog, Scout!
Congrats, Scout!
