Calling all cars, calling all cars, be on the lookout for a brown eyed, tan coated, 4 legged canine heading west down Wisconsin Ave. Answers to the name of Jojo…”well, sometimes. Jojo was adopted in August of 2012 and decided that being adopted just wasn’t fun enough, so instead of hopping in the car in the shelter parking lot with her new mom, she wiggled her head out of collar and she took off down the road in search of a new adventure. Chasing Jojo in the summer heat in flip flops, Mom knew she wasn’t going to get very far. After endless searching and a facebook bulletin put out by the Humane Society, Jojo was finally reunited with her worried Mother many hours later. She now wears a special harness that she cannot get out of just in case she smells a new opportunity on the wind… We are so happy that Jojo decided to stick around otherwise we’d never have the pleasure of having known her. She started out a little shy at first, but once she settled in and discovered all the fun she could have here, there was no turning back. She is super excited to race out to playgroup and start playing! Her constant energy, outgoing personality and contagious smile are just a few of the reasons that we are naming her August’s Dog of the month! Congratulations, Jojo!
Congrats, Jojo!
