Meet Chaucer and Watson: your September Dogs of the Month! Chaucer, a 13-year-old Norwich Terrier, and Watson, a 6-year-old Yorkshire Terrier faithfully attend Day Care each Friday. Chaucer began attending Day Care in early 2006 and Watson a few months later. Needless to say these boys have been “regulars” for quite some time. Never far apart they enjoy spending time with each other here at Day Care as much as they do at home. Chaucer plays big brother to Watson making sure he stays out of trouble and plays nicely with his little pals. These brothers truly are “two peas in a pod” when it comes to relaxing. Their favorite “perch” happens to be our brightly colored jungle gym complete with a large shade umbrella, perfect for those lazy summer days. Don’t let them fool you, though! They still kick up their heels and run like wild after they’ve cooled down. Chaucer and Watson are quite the lively duo. Once settled in their crates after a day of play they wait patiently for their parents to pick them up. Seeing the leashes when it’s their time to go home, their energy level picks up once again as they know they are going to see their other favorite people. We love having these two fabulous dogs here at Day Care and hope we have many more years with them to come. Congratulations Chaucer and Watson!
