Somewhere between a smirk and a sneer is a smile that gives Billy Idol a run for his money. This is how Jemma greets us each morning she arrives. To the untrained eye, you may think that she is “one bad momma”, but we all know better than that. Jemma is sweet as brown sugar and would never hurt a fly. Now a squeak toy, that’s another story… Jemma began coming to Central Bark when she was just a rolly polly puppy back in 2008. We have watched her mature into the loving, loyal, well rounded dog she is today. An athletic swimmer, her bronzed fur glinting in the sunlight, she loves the summertime when the pools come out. After a dip in the cool, refreshing water, she stretches out to soak up some of the sun’s ray. Wintertime is a different story-a good roll in the snow revives and refreshes Jemma’a spirits and puts her in a playful mood. Laska, Hunter and Bentley can all be seen in her company on any given day. If you really want to see Jemma shine, though, just bring out a toy. She never gets tired of chasing anything you throw for her. She’ll even sit politely until you launch it. Jemma is just an all-around great dog and we couldn’t image day care without her.
