Congratulations Moose, December Dog of the Month!

Moose is a 2-year-old Hound Mix who has been coming to Central Bark since May of 2018.
He first lived with his sister, Pippa, at CARF Curacao, the first No Kill stray animal rescue and rehabilitation group founded in 2008 on the island of Curaçao in South America. Pippa was adopted by the Moon’s and joined the Bark in September of 2017; then the Moon’s went back in the spring and adopted Moose and the two were reunited. Moose is a wonderful brother who loves his sister very much, and it shows—most of our pictures of Moose feature him right next to Pippa. He’s protective of her also, always waiting at the gate for her. Although Pippa is his favorite playmate, Moose also loves playing with Nala. And Moose enjoys human attention, too. If he’s not getting enough of it, he’ll nudge you from behind with his nose to say “hey there!” Moose is an all-around good sport and we’re so glad he was rescued and reunited with his sister and became part of our pack. Congratulations Moose!
