We were told that Kaner was in fact named in honor of Chicago Black Hawk, Patrick Kane. And since the Black Hawks are in the play-offs, this seemed like the perfect time to honor Kaner with the dog of the month award! Kaner is a 2 ½ year old Bichon-Poodle who has been coming to the Bark since September of 2014. Like his namesake, Kaner is something of a showman. When he comes into the Bark, he actually walks in on his hind legs and he even “sings” for us. Kaner is an adorable ball of fluff, who has lots of friends, especially Kiko, Rosie and Dalylah. Kaner has tons of energy and is just an all-around great pup. We’re so happy that Central Bark Gurnee is this Kaner’s home team.
