Dakota is a 1 ½ year old Aussie Mix who has been coming to Central Bark since August of 2018. Dakota is a true success story, highlighting how our staff and clients work together to bring out the best in our pups. When Dakota first came to daycare she was too nervous and reactive to safely interact in our playgroups. When she was picked up that day, we encouraged her family to keep socializing her and to bring her back again when she was a little more mature and confident.
One month later Dakota came back to us, still a bit shy but ready to make friends. We were able to work with her and since that time she has made a complete turnaround. Dakota is friendly and confident now; in fact, our staff describe her as outgoing and bubbly, with both people and dogs. Dakota has made many new friends here but her best Bark Buddies are Juneau, Chandler and Gus. We are so proud of Dakota and the hard work she has put in to become the friendly, polite girl that she is today. Congratulations Dakota!
