What Dog Owners in Asheville Say About Central Bark
We LOVE Central Bark for daycare for our young pup Opie. He is always happy to walk in and greet everyone, he comes home tired, and most importantly, the interactions we and he have with the team here are outstanding. The loving attention they show to the pets in their care is evident in every interaction with the pups and their human counterparts. The special touches like birthday photo and options for fun add-ons during daycare days are the cherry on top.

Our dog has been going to Central Bark for overnight stays, daycare twice weekly and training classes. She has grown so much and loves every minute of being there! The owners are incredible and the entire staff treats the dogs as if they were their own, truly. Could not reccomend more!
Central Bark is the best! We started our Pyrenees/lab mix pup, Jasper, in daycare and he has truly blossomed. He is naturally a shy, anxious, and sensitive pup and has a hard time meeting new people. The staff have been so patient, kind and gentle with him. It is really helping grow his confidence and we see him making huge strides out and about in town!
The staff and other clients are always so pleasant to chat with at drop offs and pickups which makes it feel like a sweet little community. Getting to go pick up Jasper at Central Bark is the best part of our day!
They also can accommodate our busy work schedules with early (6:30am) drop offs and late (7pm) pick ups. We are so grateful for the whole Asheville team!

We had a great first experience with our Min Pin here. The facility is clean, welcoming, and super cute, with a nice selection of treats and toys. Everyone was incredibly kind and friendly, and it was obvious from watching the other dogs at drop-off that they were happy, excited, and comfortable being there.
At pickup, they took the time to give us a rundown of how he did throughout the day, which I appreciated. He apparently decided putting his harness back on was optional, and hearing the staff laughing and joking about him behind the door was cute. It was clear they were taking it in stride and treating him with patience.
The reason we chose them is that they incorporate enrichment activities into the day instead of just having dogs running around together for hours. It feels like a very thoughtful approach to daycare, and we’ll be back when we’re in town.
