A Healthy, Balanced Day
Enrichment Dog Day Care offers a well-rounded mix of play, exercise, socialization, learning, rest, and tender loving care, tailored to your dog’s individual needs. This holistic approach nurtures their physical, mental, and sensory well-being, ensuring you have a healthy, happy, calm, and well-rounded companion at home.
- Play, Exercise, and Socialization: Exercise helps maintain your dog’s physical health and mood, providing a positive outlet for their energy. It also fosters a well-socialized and contented dog. Our facility offers various playgroups in both indoor and outdoor spaces, accommodating your dog’s age, personality, and comfort level.
- Rest: Adequate rest is essential for your dog’s overall health. Our daily schedule ensures they have the right balance of rest, play, and learning, preventing overstimulation.
- Learning: Dogs learn from humans and other dogs, and our trained staff uses positive techniques to encourage safe play and reinforce healthy social behaviors during day care.
- Love: Your dog becomes part of our family, receiving the attention and care they need. With regular attendance, we build a close bond with your dog, allowing us to better understand their personality, needs, preferences, and even notice subtle changes, such as mood swings or health issues.

I can’t thank Lenny and Central Bark enough for their incredible support with my 15.5-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer, Max. After a tough journey with vet-recommended medications and a shot that led to severe seizures, I was at a loss. The seizures were heartbreaking, and I thought I might lose Max. A friend connected me with Lenny, who went above and beyond to help care for Max while I was at work, showing genuine compassion and dedication.
On Lenny’s recommendation, I tried Central Bark’s Senior Comfort Chews. Within a month, Max stopped having seizures, stopped whining, and started sleeping better—giving us both much-needed peace. These chews aren’t a cure-all, but they’ve transformed our quality of life. Lenny’s kindness and expertise make Central Bark a gem. I’ll be back soon for more chews and highly recommend them to anyone with a senior dog!
Frequently Asked Questions
Our top priority is the safety of every dog in our care. Our staff members are not only highly trained but also “fluent in dog speak,” which means they can read canine body language and behavior cues. Our rigorous dog day care safety protocols use a science-based positive reinforcement approach to constantly monitor and manage play. We believe in proactive and preventative care, working to de-escalate potential issues before they start, which is a key part of how dog day care handles disagreements and maintains a secure environment for all dogs.
Rest periods can be paired with fun and interactive food toys (like a frozen peanut butter Kong) to create a rest period enrichment activity for your dog.
Not only are rest period enrichments fun and mentally stimulating for your dog, but they also help build positive associations and crating skills. Hence, dogs are calmer, quieter, and more relaxed. For dogs, being comfortable in a crate is a life skill that is incredibly useful for them and their owners.
Did you know? Scientific studies have shown that licking and chewing behaviors (especially those that involve food rewards!) are self-soothing, decrease heart and respiratory rates, and even release dopamine in a dog’s brain.

To speed up the registration process, please have available: veterinarian contact information, an emergency contact (other than yourself or your partner), pet information & medical history, and credit card information (optional). We will ask you a series of questions about your dog’s training and social history. These questions help us get to know them and provide the best care possible.
Our One-on-One Enrichment sessions give your dog the freedom to safely explore their senses with an Enrichment Specialist. They’ll get the personal attention they love, supplemented with interactive toys, puzzles, and games that exercise their bodies and minds. They can also level up their skills with fitness training and agility exercises if they’re ready for more.
Did you know? 15 minutes of mental activity is equal to 30 minutes of physical exercise!
