Introducing the Dog of the Month for the month of December: Piper!
Piper has been with us since we opened! She is a sweet girl who has grown so much since coming here. Starting out, she was at 100% speed all of the time. Now, she has learned how to read the social cues of other dogs! She has such a blast playing with her best friends: Quincy and Sundae. As well as coming to Enrichment Day Care 3 times a week, Piper also has Sleepovers from time to time!
We love spending time with Piper and watching her grow. At Central Bark, we love each dog here like our own, and Piper truly makes it easy. She always greets us with a huge smile and zoomies when she comes into our market in the mornings.💜
Enrichment Day Care is our program here at Central Bark where dogs come in at least 1 day a week to play with their furry friends! Dogs play in groups of 10-15 each and are on alternating play and rest periods. During one of their rest periods, each dogs gets a RPE- Rest Period Enrichment item. It is a West Paw Tux filled with a small amount of frozen peanut butter or frozen Greek yogurt. This promotes healthy associations with the crate while also lowering their heart and breathing rate, creating a relaxing environment. To add to the relaxation, we always have classical music in the room.
