We are so lucky to have Playa here at day care with us because we came close to never meeting her. Six years ago, Playa’s mom and dad, Velia and Andy, went to Playa Norte in Mexico on a surprise trip to celebrate their engagement. Little did they know that they would meet Miss Playa at a, more or less, oceanfront ‘refuge’ for strays. And when they returned home…they had more to celebrate than just an engagement, they had a new member of the family!!! Playa has been coming to day care since 2004 and she couldn’t have turned out to be a better dog. She prances in the door in the morning with a smile on her face and can’t wait to play w/ her boyfriend Keller. Congrats Playa on being May’s Dog of the Month!!!
