Congratulations to our October 2016 Dog of the Month, Lillie! This beautiful 6 year old Labrador Retriever is one hard working gal. Day in and day out, Lillie works hard Monday thru Thursday rarely missing a day of “school” unless Mom is working from home. While here, Lillie regales us with her masterful fetching skills, even bringing the toy right back to our feet and dropping it so we can throw it again and again and again and…well, you get the picture! She wants to be sure she gets as much fetch time as she can before the day is through. She’s one smart cookie. And her intelligence is 2nd to none when it comes to treats as well. She can smell them from a mile away and can often be found sitting quietly in front of us before we even ask her to-she knows what she needs to do to get one of those tasty morsels. She pulls out all the stops too, posing and looking cute while waiting for us to hopefully, make that treat come a little sooner rather than later. Oh, Lillie, we love your enthusiasm. Enjoy your recognition as our Dog of the Month and may it bring you lots and lots of extra treats because you certainly deserve them!
