What’s fast and red and goes woof, woof? Why, Charlie the Vizsla, of course, November’s Dog of the Month! At 4 years old, you’d think Charlie would be past his non-stop playful puppy stage, but you’d be wrong…he’s just getting started! Ever a popular dog Charlie doesn’t have enough toes on his paws to count all of his day care friends. Lucy, Lily, Frank, Chug, LeBron, Viek, Butters, Kishke and Ranger are a few of the regulars. We’d list them all, but you get the picture. While wrestling and hanging out with his buddies is fun, he is a Vizsla. That being said, Charlie is an excellent pointer and retriever. It’s just too bad that all he has to focus his amazing talents on at day care is butterflies! That’s right, even the fluttery movement of a small insect kicks his instincts into overdrive. You haven’t seen cute ‘til you’ve seen him stalk and ALMOST capture the unsuspecting creature. While he may never quite catch one, don’t tell him that. You’ll spoil the fun. When he’s not hunting or playing with his buddies, Charlie is usually standing aro und with the staff, getting love and attention (or, his favorite place, right between their legs). Thank you, Charlie, for putting a smile on our faces each and every week; and for defending our day care from the dreaded butterfly. Your ancestors would be so proud! Congratulations, Charlie!
