At Central Bark, we’re dedicated to nurturing and enriching dogs’ lives, and what better way than through puppy socialization? Positive interactions with new dogs, humans, and environments are crucial for a puppy’s healthy social development.
These early experiences help your dog build comfort, confidence, and impact their lifelong emotional development, laying the foundation for a healthy, happy, and socially well-adjusted dog.
Puppy Hour is a FREE supervised play and social hour for puppies held on Saturdays from 11 am–noon starting January 16. We invite you and your puppy to attend as many sessions as you would like until your pup reaches the age limit.
During this one-hour session, your pup will:
- Experience Off-Leash Playtime: Participate in off-leash play sessions with other vaccinated puppies of similar age, fostering social interaction and playfulness.
- Enjoy Experienced Supervision: Receive attentive supervision from experienced caregivers, ensuring safe and suitable playtime.
- Socialize and Explore: Encounter new dogs, people, toys, places, and experiences to promote socialization and adaptability.
- Face Age-Appropriate Challenges: Confront age-appropriate challenges and scenarios designed to enhance their confidence and comfort with various experiences.
You will also receive a FREE Central Bark Puppy Parent Handbook, containing helpful tips for raising your healthy, happy, well-rounded puppy.
Preregistration and proof of up-to-date Bordetella and DHPP vaccines are required. Please observe CDC guidelines including social distancing and wearing masks.

Our One-on-One Enrichment sessions give your dog the freedom to safely explore their senses with an Enrichment Specialist. They’ll get the personal attention they love, supplemented with interactive toys, puzzles, and games that exercise their bodies and minds. They can also level up their skills with fitness training and agility exercises if they’re ready for more.

Our trainers can help your dog learn a variety of essential life skills and behaviors during their one-on-one sessions. These include fundamental commands like sit, stay, down, wait, and leave-it, as well as more specific skills such as calm door and gate etiquette and relaxed loose-leash walking. The training is tailored to help your dog become a well-behaved and confident member of the family.
When potty training your pup, consistency is key. It’s crucial to establish a routine, practice positive reinforcement, supervise your puppy (especially when potty training), and avoid punishing your puppy when mistakes happen.
Potty training a puppy to eliminate outside can take just a few weeks or several months. But it will go more quickly if your training routine is consistent, and you’re consistent about taking your puppy outside every few hours.
