About Central Bark Tampa
Amy’s love of dogs began as a kid when her dad raised & showed German Shepherds, living with 14 of them at one point. During her career as a real estate broker, Amy opened her doggy day care in 2001 designed as a home away from home for black lab pup Abby. An amazing staff helped Amy grow the business which she continues to oversee after 19 years in business with dedicated & long-term leadership at the helm of daily operations. Her focus continues to be on providing a fun, safe & clean environment where our client’s dogs are treated with love, kindness & respect. For Amy, nothing is more rewarding than the wag of a dog’s tail when they arrive for day care & the smiles on her client’s faces when they see their dog happy, content & well taken care of at the end of the day.
“We welcome you to join our Central Bark family.”

General Manager

Peyton
Peyton has been our General Manager since 2020 and she is a fantastic leader for our team! Combining her 8 years of management & team-building experience with her passion for dogs has been a dream come true. Having successfully completed Central Bark’s mandatory and proprietary training program, Peyton’s prior doggy daycare work experience has given her great appreciation for the quality that our daycare program provides. She is fully committed to delivering our brand promise to “nurture, enrich & inspire.” Peyton’s experience as a vet tech expanded her awareness of dog health & behavior and she obtained her certification as a Certified Professional Animal Care Manager through the Professional Animal Care Certification Council (PACCC). She also operated a local dog rescue with her friend Hannah, successfully rescuing and adopting out 300 dogs through their non-profit while personally fostering 150 during their rescue tenure. Peyton has recently expanded her family with a daughter, Wren, born in January 2023 joining a dog family of 8 at her home with fiancé Dan (he’s a keeper!). We are grateful for her enormous heart for all dogs and their well-being.
