We fostered Mac, a beagle mix, for H.A.W.S. in 2014. He came to us shy and withdrawn. After a few months of work, Mac was adopted into a family that brought their previous dog to Central Bark. They have continued to work with with Mac. He continues to improve each day with his shyness. The nicest thing about Mac is that once you are his friend, you are his friend for life. He owes a great deal of his recovery to our late Ellie Mae. E. Mae helped this guy to learn how to smell the roses and to appreciate the finer things in life. If you have ever thought about fostering a dog, we highly recommend you give it a try. Mac and the many other dogs we have fostered now have their forever homes. We gave them a place to stay, learn, and heal while waiting for their new families. There are so many more where they came from. Is it your time to make a difference in the life of a shelter dog?
