Training can also be integrated into our dog day care for active learning, socialization, and mental enrichment. With individualized sessions and options during day care, pups learn through play, enrichment, and structure. The result? A calmer, happier dog with better habits at home.
Central Bark’s Free Puppy Hour starts your puppy’s socialization the right way. This safe, supervised play session helps puppies build confidence, social skills, and healthy play habits during their most important developmental stage (8-16 weeks). Guided by trained enrichment specialists, puppies explore new sights, sounds, and friends while burning energy and learning healthy habits. Pet parents also get expert training tips and support. It’s a fun, stress-free way to nurture a well-rounded, confident puppy — at no cost.

Which great people who are patient and care for your dog like it’s their own ! I absolutely love them.My dog used to attend doggy day care which he loved and would drag me across the parking lot because he couldn’t get in there fast enough. They hosted his first birthday party which was amazing.
After I got my dog fixed he started to show some signs of aggression. We had to stop doggy day care. He was turning into a pup that made life very difficult for me. He couldn’t be around other dogs, the vet was a nightmare , unfortunately even my home was not relaxing. He was out of control.
We started working with the trainer Kai at central bark. He was full of helpful information ! After just one training and all of the knowledge he poured into us, we have seen such great improvement. Loki had a vet visit today which I was dreading like I usually do. It usually takes an army to hold him down and even then, they’re never able to do a full check up.. today the vet tech came out to get him and I told her hopefully today will be better since we’ve seen a change in him at the house. She suggested that they try to bring him in without me and if they need me she will come out..20 minutes later she came out with him and I was expecting the usual “he fought us off, we couldn’t complete the full exam” but instead she had a smile on her face and said he did amazing. They muzzled him for precaution , but he let her put it on without a problem, they completed a full exam and treated his ears while he sat there ! I was shocked .. For the first time in over a year he was throughly examined . Kai is amazing at what he does and we can’t wait to see him again ! The owner Denise is awesome ! She has worked with us from the very beginning , always offering help and support. & the staff are all so welcoming and caring. I recommend them to absolutely everybody with a dog !
If you know how stressful life can be with an out of control dog, then you understand just how big of a step this was for us today !
Our bulldog loves his visits to Central Bark! He runs to the entrance when we arrive and Denise and the entire staff take such excellent care of him. It’s very clear how much they care about the facility and the quality experience the dogs have. It’s been really good for our bully socially and his energy is better overall. I recommend them whole-heartedly!!
Update: Molly was boarded for a few days. We received daily videos and messages. My puppy girl was clearly in good hands. She looked like she was having a wonderful time. I highly recommend Central Bark for day and overnight stays. They are the best. Every single staff person clearly loves dogs and it shows in their care. We picked olly up today and she looks just as she should, happy and healthy.
Central Bark® Enrichment Doggy Day Care combines our industry-leading doggy day care expertise with the latest science-based activities and techniques. We personalize your dog’s day with fun, healthy, and well-balanced activities that appeal to their instincts and enrich their bodies, minds, and senses.
Each day at Central Bark includes exclusive options like:
Flexible play groups allow us to match your dog each day with the social atmosphere and play schedule they can enjoy and benefit from most. This helps give them a healthy balance of play, rest, and learning and creates a safer social environment with a better quality of play. And our lower dog-to-staff ratios offer more individual attention, education, and love.
Group play skills help dogs practice important behaviors and life skills like name recall, group sit, and calmly going in and out of doors and gates. These activities are fun and rewarding for your dog and help improve behavior and impulse control, prevent overstimulation, and creates a safer social environment.
Rest Period Enrichments help dogs relax and recharge in their own private space with calming interactive toys and healthy food pairings tailored to their preferences and diet. It promotes physical and mental relaxation and can help them become more comfortable in crates by building positive associations.
One-on-One Enrichment add-on sessions give your dog the personal attention they love, supplemented with interactive toys, puzzles, and games. Sessions are fun and rewarding, exercise their body and mind, and engage their senses. Add complexity with fitness and agility equipment.
Training sessions during day care visits help your dog develop essential skills and behaviors like name recall, sit, stay, down, wait, leave-it, door and gate control, and loose-leash walking. Excellent for your dog and easy for you! Your dog will come home tired and well-socialized, with the training and skills they need to be a well-behaved member of your family.
For dogs, being comfortable in a crate is a life skill that is incredibly useful for them and their owners. If you have ever traveled with your dog or had the unfortunate experience of an overnight stay at the vet, knowing your dog is comfortable in a crate is immeasurably comforting.
Crate training can take just days or a few months, based on your dog’s age, temperament, and past experiences with crates. The two keys to successful crate training are to keep the experience positive and go slowly.
When your puppy is not in their crate, keep the door open and reward them every time they choose to enter, even if you didn’t ask them to enter it. When crating your puppy, give them a safe enrichment item (like a stuffed Kong) that will keep them busy and allow them to self-soothe while confined. Remember that crate training should take place in a series of small, slow steps that will help your puppy become more comfortable.
Central Bark® offers everything you need to help you care for your new puppy. Our Enrichment Day Care gives puppies all the socialization, exercise, mental stimulation, and rest they need for a lifetime of happiness with you and your family. We also offer expert training and classes so you and your puppy can learn and bond together.
How can I be sure that the play space is clean, odor & disease-free, comfortable and safe for the stated capacity of the center?
Central Bark® is licensed and inspected by the Health Department regularly. We also clean and disinfect nightly, regardless of how many dogs have visited.
Can I join my dog in the training sessions?
