At Central Bark Poughkeepsie, dogs get lots of love and care in a safe place. We have a special way of taking care of dogs called Whole Dog Care. It’s all about making sure your dog is healthy and happy their whole life.
We have fun programs like Enrichment Dog Day Care, plus other services like boarding, grooming, and training. Our goal is to help you and your dog have the best life together.
We treat dogs like they’re part of our family because we know they are. We’re dog parents too, so we understand how important dogs are. That’s why we take care of each dog like they’re our own.

I love it, my dog loves it!
Originally I wasn’t sure if I needed to be a member to utilize their services, but I mustered up the courage to fill out their form online and within minutes someone, a real person, reached out to me. Lovely conversation, I explained that my two dogs need grooming but in the long term will need boarding and we need help training them.
My 2 dogs can be a handful. 80 pound coonhound who thinks he 30 and a pointer mix who is ornery at times. CentralBark did amazing. From dropping them off, to picking them up, my 2 dogs seemed less crazed, and more at ease. The communication was amazing, love that they text!
Just got home from the grooming appointment. The dogs look great and weren’t as shaken as taking them elsewhere. I also left with a training consult later in October. Amazing!

Yes. We offer sleepovers to puppies and dogs enrolled in our Enrichment Day Care. Sleepovers at Central Bark® provide your dog a calm, relaxing sleepover in a place they can feel comfortable and loved. Because they’re in a familiar place, they can feel less stressed about being away from home (and so will you). A full day of Doggy Day Care is complimentary with your sleepover stay.
