Puppies begin learning from birth, and learning continues throughout their lives. For pet parents, training can start as soon as your puppy comes home with simple, age-appropriate skills and routines. Early training can focus on communication, positive reinforcement, household routines, social skills, and foundational cues. Central Bark also offers Puppy Hour, a free opportunity to help your puppy learn, socialize, and build positive early experiences while you connect with Central Bark professionals about your puppy’s needs.

Central Bark provides a balanced day of play, learning, rest, and love. Dogs in Enrichment Day Care practice social skills and Group Play Skills, while additional enrichment can engage their minds through activities that encourage learning, problem-solving, exploration, and appropriate use of their senses. Optional services such as Training Tutor and One-on-One Enrichment can provide additional mental stimulation.

Puppies may participate in dog day care once they meet the age, vaccination, health, and enrollment requirements of their local Central Bark. Early positive experiences can play an important role in healthy social development, so our goal is to introduce puppies to appropriate experiences at the right stage. A little preparation can make a first boarding stay easier. Make sure required records and enrollment steps are complete, share important information about your dog’s routine, feeding, medications, behavior, and comfort needs, and follow your local Central Bark’s packing guidance. If your dog is new to the location, ask whether a day care visit, assessment, or other introductory experience is recommended before an overnight stay.
