Manners I

This is a 6 week, one hour class for dogs 16 weeks and older with no or minimal prior training.

Manners I focuses on building a bond between the dog and its family by using positive reinforcement training methods.  During the course handlers learn how to teach their dog foundational behaviors such as focus, touch, sit, loose leash walking, off, quiet, leave it, wait, down, and a recall.  As the course progresses duration and distraction are used to strengthen these behaviors.  It also discusses challenging, undesireable behaviors such as chewing, barking, and jumping.

Dogs must be current on distemper, Bordetella and rabies vaccinations as well as parasite free.  Please bring proof of vaccination to the first class.  Waivers provided during enrollment. Flat collar, 5-6 foot leash and an abundance of treats or favorite toy for motivation.
Class Cost:
$150 if paid by April 6th. Regular price $165.
