Our Pack Leaders: Allen & Christy (with Miles & Kona)

Owners

Allen and Christy are the owners of the New Berlin and Madison Central Bark stores. They both have such a passion for animals and especially dogs. They have one son, 3 dogs and 2 cats. They have taken their passion and turned it into a career by owning their own Central Bark stores. Christy has previously worked in retail loan maintenance and Allen is currently a police fleet supervisor, with their expertise in these areas of finance and management they will help make Central Bark New Berlin and Central Bark Madison all it can be! They both strive to make Central Bark a place to talk about and have the parents and their pets leave with a smile on their faces each and every day!

Megan
General Manager

Megan has been working her way up with the Central Bark family since 2011.  Megan has demonstrated her leadership skills, problem solving abilities, and genuine love for the dogs here, which lead her to begin a management position in 2014. In 2018, Megan began overseeing the Central Bark Madison location as well as the New Berlin store, making her our General Manager. She began her career with animals working on the Rescue Waggin’ for three years.  There she oversaw transporting animals from shelters across the country and fostering dogs in her home when needed.  Megan has her associate degree in Business. She also has three dogs of her own at home; Ruby, Allie and Levi who she loves spending her free time with. The dogs love Megan just as much as we do!

 

 

 

Alyssa
Assistant Manager

Alyssa’s passion for dogs began as a senior in high school when she started working at an animal hospital as a kennel assistant. Alyssa has two dogs of her own at home, Nala and Baby Girl. She has traveled to South Africa for a month where she had hands on experience working with wildlife animals and was able to care for them and train them. She used to work at Disney which sparked her love for traveling. Alyssa has been apart of the Central Bark team since 2017 & we’re lucky to have her as our Assistant Manager!

EMILY
Store Manager/Professional Dog Groomer

Emily began pursuing her love and passion for animals when she started working at a dog kennel at fourteen years old. She then began pet sitting and grooming pets for friends and family. She graduated from pet grooming school, as well as Waukesha County Technical College in 2015. She has an associate degree in business management and a customer service certification. Emily began working here in 2015 and started off bonding with all the daycare pups as a handler, to then becoming assistant manager, to now being the store manager! She has two dogs, Morgan & Willow, along with a bird named spencer. When Emily is not working, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, going up north, or spending time with family!

Grooming with Emily is available Fridays and Saturdays by appointment only and can be scheduled by calling 262-785-0444!

 

Erin
Professional Dog Groomer

Erin has been grooming since 2008 and has earned the title of a Certified Professional Groomer through International Pet Groomer. She’s also a certified Canine Esthetician and is Safety Certified through the American Kennel Club. Erin always keeps up on grooming education by attending as many grooming seminars as she can around the country. Erin has two children, three dogs, and two cats! She has a bachelor’s degree in biology and speaks Spanish. When she’s not busy grooming, she enjoys camping, reading, traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Courtney
Professional Dog Groomer

Courtney’s love of animals started at an early age, growing up on her family’s dairy farm. Since then she has always had a passion for animals both big and small. While earning her Bachelor’s degree for Zoology and Environmental studies she began working as a Bather in a grooming salon and became a Groomer in 2013. After college, she also had the opportunity to work at a wildlife sanctuary, and was able to take care of lions, tigers, bears and many other animals. Courtney has 4 dogs, 5 cats, 2 rabbits, and 12 chickens. When she isn’t busy grooming she likes to go kayaking and hiking, she enjoys reading and watching movies, and loves being able to spend time with her family and friends.
