Sleepover Guidelines

Sleepovers

Because our Sleepover guests take part in our Enrichment Day Care program, Sleepovers are only available to current day care clients. They must have completed a behavior assessment and attended day care at least three times before their first sleepover reservation. This policy helps us ensure their safety and comfort during their stay.

Stay-n-Play

Stay-n-Play is a dog boarding service available for non-day care clients. Stay-n-Play dogs will stay and play separately from our regular day care clientele. Playtime options will be shorter and assessed on an individual basis, depending on each dog’s apparent comfort and sociability. For frequent or long-term stays, we highly suggest you consider becoming a regular day care client so your dog can benefit from our day care activities and the personal relationship they develop with our staff.

Stay-n-Play guests must be current on Rabies by six months of age (or as consistent with state law), DHPP and Bordetella, and good health. Meaning they are free from any communicable diseases or conditions that could affect other guests.

What should you bring for your dog’s stay?

Food: Should be pre-measured in baggies and labeled for each meal.

Food containers: Individual meal baggies should be stored in a larger air-tight plastic container (Tupperware) and clearly labeled with dog’s first and last name.

Comforts from home: You may bring a blanket or towel from home if you like. Just make sure it can fit in a standard washer and dryer so we can keep everything fresh and clean during your dog’s stay.

Medication: Must be pre-measured in a pill reminder (original medicine containers must still come with the pet in case of emergency).

Toys: You can bring up to two safe toys with you. Don’t bring anything you wouldn’t be comfortable with your dog having unsupervised at home.

Please label all of your dog’s belongings with a permanent marker.

What you should not bring:

Dog beds: Large dog beds that cannot be washed easily in a standard washer and dryer.

Tennis balls: We have plenty!

Food or water bowls from home: We provide stainless steel bowls that can easily be sanitized and washed daily. Ours also attach to your dog’s crate to help us keep everything clean and dry.

Old broken or unsafe toys: The most important thing to remember is not to bring anything you think your dog could chew up or swallow. Safety is our priority.
