What Dog Owners in Eugene Say About Central Bark
I couldn’t be happier with Central Bark Eugene with the care they gave my lab, Emma. First we were just traveling through Eugene for several days and we needed to board her. We were from out of town and not regular customers and Natalie was very helpful in accepting Emma and helping us through the process. While Emma was at Central Bark, I got several text messages letting me know know how she was doing. I opted for a “spa bath” for Emma before I picked her up. She got the best bath of her life. Her coat was sleek and soft, her nails trimmed and her ears cleaned. We got so many compliments. Everyone I encountered at Central Bark was pleasant, helpful and clearly showed a love for the animals they care for. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring Emma back to Central Bark on any return trips we make to Eugene.
Our pup Hazel becomes aware when we arrive, but once we get through their dual safety doors, she really takes off – pulling me like a sled dog around every corner through the entryways, desperate to reach the main reception area where her big enthusiastic welcome from the Central Bark staff awaits.
The staff genuinely cares about each dog and it shows in how they greet everyone with real enthusiasm every morning. Their Instagram shows all the really cool breeds with fun personalities of all types that go there, and being able to text them for quick updates throughout the day is so helpful.
Their extra services are great too – super helpful when you need a nail clipping or when Hazel’s feeling some spa time.

Our pup loves Central Bark. He spends 2 days a week with them, and he is always happy to run in the door. Friendly staff, good communication.
Hey everyone! I’m writing this because my 2 English Labradors love their doggy day care team and new dog friends they see every week! They swim, run, play, rest, snack, and make new friends, all of it when they are there. They just love it! They are super excited when we get there in the mornings and tired out when I pick them up in the afternoon. It’s a great place to bring your dogs! The staff is loving and caring, they engage with the dogs and all the dogs that go there, have been throughly screened and successfully passed the safety requirements for everyone and the other dogs. I highly recommend this doggy boarding program! It’s the best!
It is quite challenging to have reactive pups that cannot be around other dogs because most boarding/kennels place dogs in one large play area during the day. It is nice to have found a place like Central Bark which provides the option for individual play, away from other dogs.
I have boarded them here numerous times and my pups always return happy and well-adjusted. The lovely staff at CB sends daily report cards, photos and videos during their stay. It is reassuring to know they are in great hands; they are provided engaging activities and loving care. The staff noticed my pup’s acrobatic talent in ball fetching and one sent me slow motion videos of him in action! So amazing, thanks everyone at Central Bark!
Kudos to CB’s dog groomer Elmer who makes the furry pom poms fresh and spiffy, decked out in cute scarves.

The staff (I usually say kiddos) are not just professional and polite, it is clear they love what they are doing. My little man, 4 months huge, can’t get into the facility fast enough and comes home happily exhausted.
