Congrats Burton!

Please give a warm welcome (and maybe a ball) to our star pupil this month, Miss. Burton! This wonderful lady has been with us since nearly the opening of our doors just over yen years ago and boy has it been a wonderful experience! Things have changed a lot of the years, for the better, and this playful gal and her family has been with us steadfastly through it all. Burton is a Black Lab/Rottweiler mix who is now just over 10 years old. Being that she is older, Mom and Dad now send a comfortable mat for her to lie on during break time, which she very much appreciative of. She also loves hanging out and catching up with her old buddies Nova, Angus, and Scout S., on Mature Mondays. Even though Burton has graduated to our Mature Monday group, she’s still got plenty of pep left in her step. To the core of her being, Burton really enjoys a good game of catch. Shout to her to go long, then throw the ball, and she will catch it every time. We like to encourage her by saying things like “Nice catch lady” and “You get it girl”; and she will in turn give us the biggest smile ever. When worn out from being a superb ball catcher, she will then walk around with said ball in her mouth looking very proud of herself. She truly is a remarkable girl, who has over the years grown with us and only helped us improve our daycare pack with her absolutely incredible personality. We plan to indulge in many more games of catch with this shining star! Congratulations Burton you’ve more than earned the spotlight!
