Jim has been with Central Bark™ since 2009. Warm, compassionate, and caring, he brings a sense of humor and a great “pack leader” mentality to the job. Jim has an extensive business background and holds a Bachelor of Arts, Economics, from the State University of New York at Geneseo. After working many years in the corporate world with clients large and small, Jim realized he needed a change – and traded in his business suit for his Central Bark uniform! He is the proud owner of Violet, who was adopted from the Broward County Humane Society. They are very active in the local dog scene and can be spotted strolling the streets almost every day.

Miguel Garcia
Groomer
Graduate of the Pets Playground School for Pet Grooming in Florida, Miguel has been with Central Bark since 2004. He specializes in all breed cuts as well as cat grooming. Whether he is washing a dog, clipping nails, or providing a full hair cut, Miguel takes great pride and joy in his work. Miguel is the proud parent of two dogs, Rico and Lindo, as well as a six-toed Hemingway cat, Fuerte. Please contact Miguel at 954-566-4764 to schedule an appointment.

Dawn Thomason
Certified Pet Dog Trainer
Dawn Thomason, is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer (CPDT) through the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and registered with the AKC as a Canine Good Citizen (CGC) evaluator. Before joining our pack at Central Bark, Dawn worked for PetSmart as Senior and Area Trainer in charge of monitoring the pet training program for numerous South Florida stores. Her training is founded on positive reinforcement techniques, with the goal of building a trusting relationship between you and your dog. Q: How are the new dog introductions handled?
A: During your dog's behavior assessment we will determine the rate at which your dog is ready for group play. Only when we and the dog are comfortable will group play begin.
