Joanne and Lyndsi
Joanne and Lyndsi are the Management Duo for the Fort Lauderdale Pack! With experience from grooming to handling, Joanne is a jack-of-all-trades at Central Bark! She has been part of the team since 2009 and brings an amazing wealth of knowledge and love to the table for our furry friends! Lyndsi holds a bachelor degree in Social Work and comes from a background of rescue and advocacy in the community. She is passionate and active in education for misunderstood breeds. Their high level of commitment for education is continuously challenging staff to create a safe place for your dog to spend their days! Together they are creating a fun environment that your dog can consider a home away from home!

Miguel Garcia
Groomer
Graduate of the Pets Playground School for Pet Grooming in Florida, Miguel has been with Central Bark since 2004. He specializes in all breed cuts as well as cat grooming. Whether he is washing a dog, clipping nails, or providing a full hair cut, Miguel takes great pride and joy in his work. Miguel is the proud parent of two dogs, Rico and Lindo, as well as a six-toed Hemingway cat, Fuerte. Please contact Miguel at 954-566-4764 to schedule an appointment.

Dawn Thomason
Certified Pet Dog Trainer
Dawn Thomason, is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer (CPDT) through the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and registered with the AKC as a Canine Good Citizen (CGC) evaluator. Before joining our pack at Central Bark, Dawn worked for PetSmart as Senior and Area Trainer in charge of monitoring the pet training program for numerous South Florida stores. Her training is founded on positive reinforcement techniques, with the goal of building a trusting relationship between you and your dog. Please see our events calendar for a schedule of upcoming classes.

Clare Singer
Certified Pet Dog Trainer
Clare Singer, owner of K-9 Charm School, is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer. She has over seven (7) years experience as a trainer and instructor. Since 2003, she has worked throughout Broward County and with the Broward County Humane Society. There, she has been challenged by many behavioral and training experiences. For the Broward County Humane Society she instructs “Doggie-B-Good” group clicker and Intermediate classes. She has also volunteered in many aspects of the shelter to include foster care, education, behavior, and, puppy pre-school classes. An advocate for humane training methods, her goal is to help animals stay in their homes through humane training and education. Q: How are the new dog introductions handled?
A: During your dog's behavior assessment we will determine the rate at which your dog is ready for group play. Only when we and the dog are comfortable will group play begin.
