A Luau on May 28, 2009 will celebrate the grand opening of Central Bark Doggy Day Care, New Orleans’ answer for quality dog care. Bring your favorite furry friend for refreshments, door prizes, fun canine games, pet photos and complimentary dog washes from 5-8pm. Central Bark Doggy Day Care is excited to offer day care, sleepovers, and salon services in the Labarre Business Park at 1604 Justin Rd Metairie, LA 70001.

Owner, Holly Valenti, combined her 13 years of hotel experience with her passion for dogs when she opened Central Bark. "As a New Orleans native, I am excited to bring a business I have longed for to the area. Now, instead of 2 legs, my hotel guests will have 4!" she says.
Central Bark is as committed to your dog’s happiness and well being as you are, and it shows. As a home away from home Central Bark's 'guests' are treated to the highest quality in service and commitment. Each dog receives individual attention, naps, and activity time with their friends. Courtney Abercrombie brings her furry friend in every week, "Boo Radley loves going to Central Bark - I know because she sleeps through to the next day when she gets home! They really keep them entertained all day long and relive me of the dreaded dog guilt."
Socialized dogs of any shape and size are welcome in the 7400 sq ft facility. Each dog under goes a behavior assessment and documentation of vaccinations, spay and neuter certificates are required. Each dog is socialized according to his or her behavior assessment. All of our dogs become fast friends once they are introduced!
Central Bark New Orleans opened in December of 2008 to answer New Orleans' need for a quality dog care service. We are serving the New Orleans metropolitan area with day care, overnight boarding, salon, and boutique services.
