Meet the adorable Westie sisters, Caleigh and Kenzie, Central Bark Eden Prairie’s Dogs of the Month. What a thrill it is to have Caleigh and Kenzie as part of the Central Bark family! They both bring a special spark to our Wednesday play group with their spunky, loving personalities. Both of these sweeties had rather hard-luck starts in life – four year old Kenzie was a puppy mill mom in Missouri, and 1 year old Caleigh came from an uncertain background somewhere in Kansas. Along came their new mom, who found them through Westie rescue, and it was love at first sight! 2010 has been a very good year for these girls – with a new home, new friends, and all the comforts and niceties they so deserve. When Caleigh and Kenzie arrive at Central Bark, get ready for kisses. Gregarious Caleigh makes the rounds and kisses all humans and dogs alike. Meanwhile Kenzie is a bit more reserved in her approach – preferring to gently lick a Handler’s hand when invited. Caleigh is quite the party girl and loves to be part of the action. At one time lovely Kenzie preferred watching from the sidelines; but as her confidence grows, she is much more likely to invite a dog to play or tag along with her sister and pals. On any given Wednesday, you will see these cuties frolicking with Billy and Lilly, chasing Timber and of course they have a blast with each other. Miss Caleigh and Miss Kenzie are absolutely wonderful members of our Central Bark pack and we are honored to congratulate them as August 2010 Dogs of the Month!
