Can I see the complete facilities
where my dog will be staying?
Of course! You

 |
How can I
be sure that the play space is clean, odor & disease-free,
comfortable and safe for the stated capacity of the center?
Central Bark™ is
licensed and inspected by the Health Department
regularly. We also clean and disinfect nightly,
regardless of how many dogs have visited. |
 |
How do dogs wind down from
the furry of activity and avoid potential conflicts?
Dogs nap quietly
in their individual crates in the Nap Room, complete
with classical music and aromatherapy. |
 |
Are there
outdoor play areas?
Central Bark™ has
outdoor facilities complete with swimming pools
and cooling systems for the summer. |
 |
Is there a schedule of activities
and safety rules?
Yes. Our day is
broken up into areas of play, rest, feeding and
more. And we always keep a watchful eye on canine
good manners.
|
 |
Are the facilities
well equipped with toys, bedding and supplies?
Central Bark™ has
plenty of Kongs®, tennis balls and other
toys for everyone. The dogs could ask for nothing
more! |
 |
Is the management and staff
mature, knowledgeable, courteous, professional and patient at
all times?
We have a team
of very qualified individuals here at Central
Bark™, including managers who are certified
in Canine First Aid and CPR. |
 |
Are the dogs
supervised at all times?
ABSOLUTELY! |
 |
How are the corrections and
praise administered and what provisions are there for avoiding
fights?
Central Bark™ always
monitors the dogs' behavior to try to avoid incidents.
However, we are equipped with shaker cans, squirt
bottles and the HOSE if need be.
|
 |
How well
do the dogs respond to the staff?
Very well. The
dogs at Central Bark™ respect and love
the staff! And we love them!
|
 |
Is there
an in-depth interview to determine relevant background, behavioral
and health information including confirmation of spay/neuter,
proof of vaccinations, flea and tick prevention, etc.?
Moreover,
is the information kept up to date?
On your first day we will
obtain information on all aspects of your dog. Documentation of
vaccinations and spay and neuter certificates are required. We
have a computerized reminder system for vaccination updates. We
spot check every dog that comes to day care, for any signs of fleas.
Flea preventatives are strongly recommended.
|
 |
Are the requirements
and rules in writing so I will know what to expect?
Yes. See Rules
and Regulations in the Central Bark Doggy
Day Care application. You can also stop by any
of our locations to pick up these materials.
|
 |
Does
the center maintain the same policy for sleepovers?
Central Bark™ reserves
sleepover services exclusively for dogs accepted into the day care
programs, so the same policies do apply.
|
 |
How are the
new dog introductions handled?
During your dog's behavior
assessment we will determine the rate at which your dog is ready
for group play. Only when we and the dog are comfortable will group
play begin.
