Rita K Landis and Mary Beth Buechel
Owners
Rita Landis has been a dog lover all of her life, growing up with purebred Airedales. Now, dogs in need seem to find her and they are warmly welcomed into her home.
Years ago, after adopting a crazy yellow lab named Scout, she turned to Doggy Day Care for help in keeping the extremely energetic lab from destroying her entire house. From then on, all of her dogs would go to Doggy Day Care at least once a week.
Always wanting to open her own business and be her own boss, a pet- friendly franchise made perfect sense. Rita's motto has always been "if you are not having fun every day, do something else." She took her own advice and after 22 years in corporate information technology management, Rita decided to follow her dream and open her own Central Bark Doggy Day Care. Rita, along with her canine family - Rupert and Maxwell - look forward to sharing their day with your dogs and having a blast every day.
Thank you Scout for the inspiration!
As a child Mary Beth was notorious for pulling the pin from her Golden Retriever’s kennel so in her words "doggies play." Though her vocabulary abilities have changed quite a bit from that young age, she is still passionate about dogs and currently owns a Golden Retriever of her own, Brady. After 16 years in Human Resources where she mastered a seventh sense for being able to tell when there was a full moon, MaryBeth was ready for a change. Having ownership in a franchise with Central Bark she knows the search is over for a career that she is passionate about. MaryBeth along with her canine kid Brady look forward to meeting you and every day "doggies play!"
