Start your
puppy on the right paw. This class focuses on basic household manners,
household management, safety behaviors and the five basic behaviors

adolescence your puppy will already know the rules and be less prone
to aggression or fear issues. |

Basic behaviors
are proofed and reliability is worked on with distractions. For example,
can your dog sit-stay while you walk around him, bounce a ball, drop
treats or go into the next room? New behaviors such as “heel” are
introduced and old behaviors are polished, expanded and connected
such as “Come-Sit-Finish”.
|
Advanced Obedience

This is a course
geared towards those that are interested in preparing for obedience
competition or just to have the best behaved dog in the neighborhood.
|
| Canine Good Citizen (CGC) |

week class that will teach you and your dog the skills needed to
pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen test. The CGC is a standardized
test that often is used by pet therapy groups as a basis for their
tests.
|
Agility I, II, III
(Must have basic obed. skills) |
Get your dog
started in this fun sport. Both of you will have fun and learn a
lot more about each other in the process. These courses give you
the basic skills needed for novice agility.
|
Rally Obedience
(Must have basic obed. skills) |
This is the
newest fun AKC sport for dogs. This will fine tune your dogs obedience
skills by walking him through a different course each week using
cue cards to tell you what you dog is supposed to do at each station.
Examples include sit/stay and walk around your dog, heel slow, heel
fast, weave around cones, turn left or right, etc. Not only will
your dog enjoy obedience but this helps improve their listening skills
and motivation because now what you are asking your dog to do is
a fun game.
