Meet The Pack Leaders!

Judi (w/ Mocha and Chachi)

Owner

Here’s Judi with Mocha and Chachi and Tascha inset into the picture. Not pictured is her significant other, Marty, who has been a great support person in helping Judi realize her dream.

Judi has always been an animal lover.   She got her first cat when she was 6 and was always bringing home strays, much to her father’s chagrin.  Judi’s passion for dogs didn’t  develop until she was able to stop traveling for work and get her first dog, Mocha in 1999.  Realizing that two dogs are much more fun than one, she got her second dog, Chachi, shortly thereafter.   Both are rescue dogs from a local animal shelter. Unfortunately, Mocha passed in 2007.   Judi decided to adopt another dog as a buddy for Chachi.   She rescued Tascha in 2007 so that Chachi would have a playmate.

While Judi enjoyed managing the sales plan, offices, budgets and people in the corporate world, she just couldn’t get enough of dogs.  She has volunteered at a local shelter for several years helping to clean kennels, socialize dogs, foster dogs, develop a dog assessment program with a team of volunteers, assist with various business aspects and participate on the board of directors.   Through this work, Judi realized that she needed to follow her passion for animals and do something with them, particularly dogs, and not just part time.  She decided to join the team and open her own Central Bark® franchise in Oswego, IL.

Judi looks forward to taking care of your dogs as if they were her own.

Dog of the Month!

Congrats, Lulu!

Lulu is a pure bred Boston Terrier that is a love bug! Lulu loves to be held, give kisses and clean your ears. Lulu was rescued by someone that found her wrapped in a towel in a dumpster. She's got a deformed front paw and in some backyard breeder's mind, that made her disposable. Thankfully a good samaritan thought otherwise and saved her, got her healthy and found her wonderful owners, Peggy & Dick, who just adore her. Lulu loves to sunbathe and play with Bonnie, Skipper, Roxy, Kochi and several other smaller dogs. Lulu comes into the store in the morning excited to see everyone and insists on seeing everyone before going into the nap room. She also likes to say goodbye to everyone before she leaves. Lulu is very social and loves everyone she meets and we love having her here. Congratulations Lulu. Enjoy your time in the spotlight. You deserve it!
