Sue Ann with Emma

Owner

After years of dreaming of becoming a dog mom, Sue Ann finally adopted her first dog in 1990 from the humane society in Helena, Montana. "Greta" was 3 to 5 yrs old when she was found as a stray, but she was a good teacher and helped Sue Ann deepen her appreciation for our canine friends, so much so that Sue Ann co-founded of Dog Days of Wisconsin, a summer camp for dogs and their people. As a result of that association, Sue Ann’s love of dogs continued to grow. She attended numerous classes and workshops in dog training and Tellington Touch and developed her skill in candid and portrait photography of dogs. After 27 years as a claims specialist for the casualty insurance, Sue Ann knew it was time to find a way to make dogs her entire life, not just a part of it. In spring 2005, she decided to join the team and open her own Central Bark™ franchise.

Dog of the Month!

Congrats, Luna!

This lovely large lab mix is Luna. Her adventures started with us just over 4 years and 200 visits ago. She has as much energy today as she did when she was a 6 month old pup. Her favorite game is fetch but loves to play with the other labs, no matter the color or age. After a hard play period she will chill out on one of the dog beds or cuddle with the handler. Not much ruffles Luna. Congratulations, Luna, on being Oak Creek’s May Dog of the Month!
