I love this place!

I adopted Teddy in late October of last year (2010). I was seduced by his adorable face--he looks like Benji. He's smart and has a great personality--BUT--he's full of energy, lots and lots of energy! And I 'm not. Going for walks, chasing the two cats and running in and out of the house and around the backyard simply aren't enough to siphon off all that extra energy. Even though he likes to play with his toys, he gets bored. (I didn't realize that dogs could get bored, but it's easy to tell when he is). He wants me to play with him all of the time and that isn't what I had in mind when I adopted him. I didn't know what I was going to do with him-- return him to the pound (not an option) or get a second dog as a playmate (really not an option!)

I went on-line to see if there was some kind of dog playgroup or day camp I could send him to, and I found City Bark. I showed up one day unannounced to check the place out and was immediately given a tour, I was very impressed by the friendliness of the staff, the size of the indoor and outdoor play areas, and how clean it all is. Also, I love the schedule: there's play time, snack time, nap time, and then play time again until it's time to get ready to go home. It's kind of like my grandbaby's preschool without the academic component!

So, the point of all of this is that I started taking him to City Bark three weeks ago and it's made such a difference in his behavior at home. After spending the day playing with his doggie friends, he's much more mellow and relaxed at home. It's really been a win-win situation for both of us: he has fun and gets rid of all that extra energy and I don't have to feel guilty about not wanting a second dog!

Thank you, City Bark!

Gracie is petrified of the vet's office. On her first visit to doggy day care, she obviously thought this was a new doctor's office. She was shaking, her tail was tucked, and she just looked like she was on the way to her own execution. The second visit to day care, she was smiling and her tail was wagging. On her third visit, she nearly flew out of my arms and ran into day care with wild abandon! Thanks for taking such good care of our furkid!

My pup Dallas had so much fun with Holly at doggy day care! Holly is awesome, the facility is very clean, and Dallas is so tired after a day at doggy day care!! We recently moved to TX and Dallas keeps asking me when I'm going to bring her to Central Bark so she can play with Ms. Holly & her doggy pals! : )
Definitely on our list of places to go when we visit family and friends!
Great place to bring your best friend....he/she will LOVE it!!!!

Frustrated with new puppy destruction, I cried every night and considered the possibility of returning my beautiful blue merle goldendoodle to the breeder. However, a combination of training and Central Bark day care saved the day. Gigi is much more obedient, more social and more "tired" now that she's doing what a puppy needs to do. She loves Holly and her best doggy friends at Central Bark and can't wait to go in the mornings. When Holly was on local TV, Gigi went crazy in front of the TV! She loves swimming and all the play yard equipment. It's great doing something to make her happy and she makes me happy in return.

I have 6 dogs and always wanted to send them to day care but never found a place that I felt comfortable with. My dogs are very special to me and I would never leave them with just anyone. When I went to visit Central Bark I was amazed and excited to finally find a doggy day care that I could trust. The place is clean, very dog friendly and Holly is incredible. You can just tell that she loves animals. After that one visit , my dogs went to doggy day care and then stayed overnight for 5 days while I went out of town. My dogs were so exhausted when I picked them up which meant they had a great time. Holly definitely kept them busy all day. My dogs will now be going to doggy day care now once a week just to get them out of the house to have fun, improve on their social skills, and get the proper exercise. Holly, thank you so much for opening Central Bark. The New Orleans area needed something like this! It makes me feel great knowing that my dogs are in good hands.

Central Bark Downtown Milwaukee consistently does what I once thought was impossible - they tucker out my 1 year old beagle pup. He's so sweet and well behaved when he's tired!
Off leash time is so important for Ollie, but because he's a scent hound and I don't have a fenced yard his opportunities are really limited. Central Bark allows him to really stretch his legs, not to mention so much fun play time and socializing.
Many thanks to the staff and other Tuesday dogs (particularly the puggles!) who allow me the day off from our imperative 1.5 hour afternoon walk. He's happier and healthier (and I've stayed sane) because of you!

My dogs have been attending doggy day care at the downtown location for almost 2 years now. This location is like family, not only do my dogs get excited and love this place, but so do I. The employees and management are the best in the business, they make you feel like friends, not "customers." These people do more than just watch my dogs, they take care of my children, and that is what is important. Thank you so much for all you do.

Well, Killian had his first day of day care yesterday, and all reports indicate it was a successful day! He must have had a great day because he slept all the way home. In fact, he was only awake long enought to eat his dinner, and then it was right back to sleep. We're looking forward to many happy days there!

Thank you for taking care of our baby "BOBO". We are really happy with the service and quality care. Few months back we travelled out of country and we were worried how I my dog is going to react. But every week I got mails from Sarah and pictures of my dog. We were so happy and felt good that BOBO is really having great time at home. Thanks a lot and keep up the good work.
Regards...

Hello! My baby Kizzie loves going to doggy day care. As soon as we get home she is so tired from all the fun she has had. I don't know what I would do without doggy daycare. It makes me feel so much better when I have to go to work in the morning.

Hey Gang! I just wanted to formally comment on how great it was to be a part of the DDC team and how terrific I think DDC is! I've never worked with a more friendly, devoted and caring staff who are all truly "dog people"! Star and Wiley loved coming to school to play with their human and canine friends and I know they miss you almost as much as I do! Keep up the great work!

Our grandpuppy "Griffin" is our love, he loves 'doggy day care' we heard he was chosen pet of the month for April and had to check it out. He is such a dear, his "smile" is the best. Thanks for taking such good care of him when the family goes on vacation, you all do a wonderful job, keep up the good work.

My dog Xoe has been going to the north location for over a year now. I cannot imagine what I would do without day care as an option! I no longer have to feel guilty about leaving her home alone. She has buddies there... even a few "best friends" that I always hear about. The staff is friendly and always eager to talk about how her day went. Thanks!
