With over 35 years of combined working experience with 2 major financial institutions, Mark and Karol decided to look beyond the corporate world. They wanted more satisfaction than the Monday thru Friday 8-5 schedule. Having dogs throughout their lives made it easier to understand the need for this service. As they scheduled their vacation time away from home, they always struggled to find a suitable place to take care of their dogs, Dottie, Mona and Lucy and having a piece of mind while they were away. After careful consideration and thoughtful research, they came across the doggy day care concept. The piece of mind you have while you are on vacation knowing your dog is being taken care of by the same facility you visit regularly is priceless. With the lack of availability of facilities that can provide this service in Muskego and the surrounding communities and knowing they’re not alone, Mark and Karol decided to pursue their dream of doing what they love most by joining the pack and now they are the proud owners of Central Bark Muskego as of December 3, 2008. Come in for a personalized tour, we look forward to providing quality service for all your dog’s needs.
Meet our Trainer!
Tracy Olson
My name is Tracy Olson and I am delighted to be part of the dog training classes at Central Bark Muskego. I was a volunteer trainer at the Wisconsin Humane Society for 2 years prior to obtaining my dog training certificate in July 2008. The 2 years I spent as a volunteer dog trainer at the humane society asserted my passion and love for animals in general and dogs in particular. I witnessed firsthand the result of treating a dog as a commodity verses companion during the puppy mill buy-out a couple of years ago.
Socializing and training those dogs back to health made me decide to spend my required externship to graduate at the humane society. I spent over 65 hours training dogs of all breeds, shapes and sizes on how to become better dogs for their parents. Nothing was more gratifying to me than seeing the difference a well trained dog makes in its parents life.
My dog training philosophy is simple and falls into three categories; Consistency, patience and method. I will provide you with the method and work with you on how to be patient and consistent. I look forward to working with you and your pooch to make life easier and more enjoyable for all.
