Congrats, Phoebe!

Congratulations to Phoebe for being our May Dog of the Month! Phoebe is a six year old Rat Terrier Mix. Her mom enrolled her into daycare at a young age to burn off some energy & to learn great social skills. It’s hard to believe it’s been almost six years since her first day of daycare! As you can imagine, she has quite the list of buddies having been coming to daycare for as long as she has. Her favorite time of year is spring when there is breeze & she can soak up the sunshine. When done mingling with her pals, she perches herself on top of the slide & watches all of the action. Sadly to say, Phoebe was recently diagnosed with bone cancer. Her mom & doctor caught it early on, so they were able to amputate her leg. She made a speedy recovery & is currently going through chemotherapy. We are so proud to announce that Phoebe is a cancer survivor & her doctor has given her permission to come back to daycare. Phoebe has amazed all of the staff at Central Bark with her courage & strength. She plays with all of her pals as if nothing had ever happened to her. We are so happy to see Phoebe doing so well & enjoying life with her buddies at Central Bark! Enjoy your month in the spotlight! If anyone deserves it, it’s you!
